Job Overview
The Access Control Coordinator role is responsible for processing security and access permissions for various individuals requiring building access. They also serve as a customer service representative, assisting with access control requests and troubleshooting badge-related issues. Other responsibilities include managing inventory, generating reports, and assisting with alarm remediation.
Responsibilities
• Process security and access permissions for new employees, contractors, and visitors
• Answer incoming calls, chats, emails, and tasks to assist with access control requests
• Activate or deactivate badges and program access levels via CCURE
• Troubleshoot badge printer problems and manage supply inventory
• Operate internal programs to prioritize and manage incoming tasks
• Maintain and troubleshoot badge printers
• Assist with projects and badging events
• Generate reports from various systems
• Follow outlined procedures with attention to detail
• Maintain knowledge of access control policies and procedures
• Assist with alarm remediation
• Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least one year of experience in a security operations center (SOC) setting or fast-paced technology-driven client environment
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Portuguese
• Be a quick learner who can adapt to process changes and new tools
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Assertiveness with strong influencing skills
• Ability to interact well with various professional levels and across diverse cultures
• Action-oriented with a passion for efficiency and effectiveness
• Experience in a badging or access control setting is preferred
• Knowledge of CCURE or similar software
• Experience in international and virtual customer support
Compensation
Estimated Pay Range:
Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
