As the HRBP Latam Lead , you will be a strategic partner and a key driver of organizational success across our most vibrant markets in Latin America: Brazil and Mexico . This is a high-impact role where you will balance regional nuances with global standards, ensuring our talent strategy aligns with Ant International’s vision of building a more inclusive and sustainable future.
Reporting directly to our global leadership outside the region, you will act as the bridge between local operations and international strategy. You will lead HR initiatives that foster innovation, support rapid growth, and nurture a world-class employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership in Brazil and Mexico, providing insights on organizational design, talent strategy, and workforce planning.
- Regional Oversight: Lead HR operations for both Brazil and Mexico, ensuring alignment in culture while respecting local labor laws, market practices, and compliance requirements.
- Talent Management: Drive end-to-end talent cycles, including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development to build a robust pipeline for the region.
- Cultural Integration: Facilitate a seamless connection between Latam teams and global headquarters, fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and global collaboration.
- Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives that enhance the employee value proposition (EVP) and maintain high levels of engagement and retention.
- Change Management: Lead the organization through periods of rapid growth and transformation, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication across all levels.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Significant experience as an HR Business Partner, with a proven track record of supporting multi-country operations (ideally Brazil and Mexico).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. An MBA or specialized HR certification is highly preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is mandatory , as you will report to global leadership and collaborate with international stakeholders daily.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Brazilian labor market and regulatory environment. Familiarity with the Mexican market is a strong advantage.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and navigate a complex, fast-paced global matrix organization.
Preferred Qualifications (The "Plus" Factors)
- Multilingualism: Proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin Chinese is a significant advantage.
- International Exposure: Previous experience working with or managing stakeholders in the United States or other global tech hubs.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in people management and leading HR teams.
- Industry Background: Experience in the FinTech, Technology, or Financial Services sectors.
