About the Role:

• Role: Backend Developer Or Kotlin Backend Developer
• Location: Brazil (Remote)
• Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Kotlin
• Build and maintain real-time data pipelines for inventory, pricing, orders, and customer activity
• Implement event-driven systems using Kafka
• Develop and optimize search and catalog capabilities using Elasticsearch
• Ensure system scalability, performance, and high availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Contribute to architecture decisions for omnichannel retail platforms

Required Skills

• Strong backend development experience with Kotlin , 5+ years of experience
• Experience with Kafka for event streaming
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience building data pipelines and distributed systems
• Solid understanding of microservices and API design
