Role Overview

The SAP SD Techno‑Functional Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and delivering SAP Sales & Distribution solutions, along with managing technical enhancements through ABAP knowledge. The role bridges functional expertise with technical capability to support end‑to‑end sales process.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Sales & Distribution processes.
• Configure SAP SD modules including:
• Customer Master, Material Master, Pricing, Output Determination
• Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing
• Shipping, Credit Management, Returns & Refunds
• Availability Check (ATP), Intercompany sales, Third‑party sales
• Design and implement pricing procedures, tax configurations, and condition techniques.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (MM, FI, PP, WM, CRM, TM).
• Provide support for UAT, SIT, integration testing, and Go-Live.
• Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects.

Technical Responsibilities (Techno‑Functional)

• Collaborate with ABAP developers to build and enhance custom objects.
• Ability to debug ABAP code to perform issue analysis.
• Create Functional Design Documents (FDD), and review Technical Design Documents (TDD).
