Opportunity – Data Engineer (Senior) | Brazil | Remote

Hi everyone,

We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a global project supporting a leading multinational company.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and business strategy, building scalable data solutions that support decision-making and advanced analytics initiatives.

What you will be doing:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models
• Work across data lake environments, Snowflake, and Hive-based architectures
• Support analytics, reporting, and business performance monitoring
• Collaborate closely with data, analytics, and business stakeholders
• Enable data infrastructure for machine learning and AI initiatives
• Contribute to the development of data products and applications (including Streamlit and chatbot-based solutions)
• Help evolve the data and ML ecosystem, supporting scalability and innovation

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platforms
• Strong experience with SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience with Spark / PySpark
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Experience with Airflow (or similar orchestration tools)
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based data platforms
• Experience with Snowflake (or similar data warehouse solutions)
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data quality, and governance
• Experience with Git / version control
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguous requirements
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent English (mandatory)

Nice to have:

• Experience with data lake / hybrid data environments
• Experience supporting ML pipelines or AI initiatives
• Exposure to Streamlit, data apps, or chatbots
• Experience in global / cross-functional environments
